After receiving a bye through the first two Qualyfying rounds, Eastwood will enter this season’s FA Vase competition at the 1st Round Proper where they face an away trip to Stapenhill. Burton-on-Trent based Stapenhill currently sit 13th in division one of the Midland Football League (step 6) taking twenty-one points from a possible forty-eight.

Tomorrow’s hosts only win in their last six league meetings was an impressive 3-2 win over league leaders Heather St John. The swans do boast an impressive home record tasting defeat just twice this season in nine matches.

Previous Meetings: Tomorrow will be the first meeting between Eastwood CFC and Stapenhill with Stapenhill moving laterally from East Midland Counties to the MFL Division 1 in the season the Red Badgers were promoted to step 6, Stapenhill have remained in the same division ever since meaning our paths have never crossed.

Squad Update: Changes are expected with a huge UCL fixture against AFC Mansfield on Tuesday night, Oliver Robinson and Lavell White are both out, Lynden Joyce has picked up an injury in the week but should be okay and will likely fill in at right back, Phil Watt and Aaron O’Connor could also return to the squad. Daniel Elliott has sat and watched from the bench the past two matches but could make his first appearance tomorrow since the opening day of the season. No player in the current squad has scored more goals in the FA Vase (5) for Eastwood than Tyler Blake and the forward will be wanting to build on four goals in his last four outings.
