Player Watch: Former ECFC junior players Charlie Tassi and Joe Turner will both be apart of our opponents squad tonight with both players featuring in the Red Badgers FA Youth Cup campaign last season.
Previous Meetings: There has been no meeting between Eastwood and Alfreton for over five years but it is a competitive rivalry that has been there for many years.
Squad Update: Matt Clowes has made four changes from the side that beat Deeping Rangers 5-0 two weeks ago Charlie Jackson has since left and youngsters Owen Wright and Robert Sefton drop out, in come Daniel Utley, Jaden Madondo and Osaro Divine. Charlie Crofts has also been named in the squad after an impressive start to his Under 18 and Under 21 football at Eastwood, Charlie also impressed on his debut for our Academy Super league side on Wednesday afternoon bagging a brace. Forward Reuben Clowes is in fine form netting seven goals in his first five games of the season whilst the pair of Toby Woodward and Finnley Commons have both enjoyed good starts to senior football earning regular minutes with the first team. Alfie Flynn is a defender to keep an eye on for the future, Flynn has been named captain of his Academy side and has been instrumental in both wins so far this season.
