ECFC announce new official website, 3G Pitch update, and information about up and coming changes at the Club

As a club we thought it would be a good time to outline some changes that you will be seeing at the club. In order for us to have clearer communication about all football related matters at ECFC we have moved our official website on to the Pitchero template. Moving forward all information about our teams, from 1st team to our U-8 can be found at www.eastwoodcfc.co.uk. We will still be using our social media platforms to get news out and this will link with our official site. We hope that this site will give players, supporters and all that are interested in ECFC up to date information and will be updated on a daily basis.

Our new 3G pitch is coming along nicely, the topsoil was removed and given a new home at Linby CW FC. We hope that will help them with their plans and development for their club. The drainage has been put in and over the next few weeks we will see new retaining walls built, tarmac laid and new floodlighting system installed. Anybody who has any interest in seeing the works, is more than welcome to pop in to the pitchside bar and grab a coffee and see the work taking place.

Within the next 3 weeks we will be launching a new website advertising the new facilities we have on offer. Our Function Rooms are perfect for any occasions and with the new bar added to the Erewash Suite the facility is really taking shape. A link to the new site and further information will be available shortly.

One last point of interest. Launching in September from our new facility will be our full time football and education academy. 20 players will be given this fantastic opportunity and we hope that local talent will be part of this venture. The PlaySoccer USA Academy will use the new 3G Arena Pitch for all their training and match play, and will be educated on site at the facility.

At PSUSA Academy we have developed a 2 year football and
educational programme that will give players the
underpinning experience to handle the pressure of playing at
the highest levels in the USA. We will prepare players for the
physical and mental stressors that are put on players in the
US Collegiate environment.

Our staff have helped over 1000 players live the dream of
playing in nearly all 52 states in the USA. We feel we have
developed a one of a kind programme that uses the best
coaches, the best facilities and the best educators to deliver a
development programme that will enable the best possible
outcomes in the USA.

More information including a new website and open/trial days will be available shortly. Anybody aged between 16 and 21 can contact info@playsoccerusa.com for more details.

We hope that over the next few months those involved with ECFC will see some exciting developments.
