Eastwood CFC return to action tomorrow evening in a pre-season friendly against rivals Ilkeston Town FC here at The Pro:Direct Stadium @ Eastwood CFC.

James Jepson's men returned to training last week ahead of the 2019/20 season, Jepson had this to say in his pre-match programme notes:

"Having played against Ilkeston myself over the years it was a real shame of how they have had their off field problems, But with back to back promotions under the ownership of Alan Hardy I believe Ilkeston Town are on the up again, especially with Lee in the hot seat and with the talented squad he has assembled".

"We at Eastwood can only look to use this as the benchmark to achieve our personal goal this season".

"After our unbeaten run last season myself and Flynny felt we didn’t need to change that much to the squad and only add what will improve the squad".

"I made it clear to everyone that I wanted them to remain at the club for the new season and also made it clear to all the Academy players who stepped up last year I wanted them with us again".
