Following talks with the club 1st Team manager Stephen Kirkham and his assistant Andy Nicholson have resigned from their role with immediate affect.

Kirkham and his management team took the club from rock bottom to ninth in the league, taking nine-teen points from a possible thirty-six on offer, along with reaching the 1st Round Proper of the FA Vase.

Due to the financial position of the club and the club wanting to return to its roots the decision was made with the interests of both parties and the outcome was the best resolution.

We would like to give a big thanks to Kirkham and Nicholson on getting the team to the position we are now and kickstarting our season, the club wishes them all the best with their next venture, two top blokes who will no doubt be involved with football again very soon.

A new managerial appointment will be announced in due course….
