Promising teenager puts pen to paper as the Red Badgers finalise their squad.

With less than two weeks before the UCL opener against Melton Town, Ball & Thomas have been busy adding the final pieces to their already stellar squad.

Joyce is a versatile eight-teen year old who can operate at both right back and left back as well as further forward on the pitch, joining from Basford United having made one appearance for the step three side last season. Much sought after in the summer Lynden mind was made up after speaking with the Red Badger gaffers. “ I am absolutely delighted to be signing for Eastwood CFC, its a really family oriented club which I love and it’s the right move for me and is a massive step in the right direction as this club has aspirations and goals they want to achieve that I can’t wait to be a part of. I’ve really enjoyed pre season so far all the lads and coaches have been really welcoming and I can’t thank them enough for that. You can see that this club is on the rise and I’m just buzzing to be a part of it. Really happy to finally get this one over the line.”

The gaffers expressed their delight at securing the left back’s signature “We are delighted to get a deal sorted with Lynden to bring him to Eastwood CFC. We were made aware of him at the start of pre-season and have been nothing but impressed since day 1. Technically he is exceptional, comfortable with both feet, is tactically very good and has a good attitude. He’s a great lad off the pitch and has all the attributes to have a very good career. He went through the academy at Basford and I know there were a few clubs sniffing around him, so we are delighted he is on board with what we are trying to achieve at Eastwood, he has put his faith in DT and myself and we are looking forward to working with him moving forward and watching him progress. Welcome to the club Lyn!
