Red Badgers come out on top in Boxing Day six goal thriller.

Jepson on Kimberley MW Victory

“ Good to be at home again and was a good display, few home truths before the game and set out what my standards are again. We lost to Belper and that was my fault, we got beat with no excuses by Sherwood but if we lost today or even drew it was unthinkable if we are going to achieve promotion and 3 defeats in a row isn’t good enough”

“ Was good to have Rossy back and Ben was unfortunate to come off with a knee injury but the back four and Ratha were superb”

“ They had a game plan to sit in and frustrate us and they did well in midfield and moved the ball quick and put us under pressure”

“ I said before the game both strikers would score because they are getting to know each other and both have looked sharp and hungry. JT (Turner) was a constant threat and I’m delighted he’s got his brace today as a striker it’s always nice to score but it’s not just goals with him he gives us something extra and he’s a fantastic lad who gives his all”

“ The day belongs to KK though (Knight) was the best player on the pitch by a long way and he’s getting better. I think the armband has given him extra responsibility to perform and he’s leading by example. I’ve said it before but he’s somebody who needs constant reminders of how good he is and not to drift through the game, a class act”

“All in all a good day and we got what we deserved”
